Townsend Fire-EMS is accepting applications for open per-diem paramedic positions to serve the citizens of the Town of Townsend and surrounding communities.
Townsend provides ALS 9-1-1 ambulance service to the community of Townsend, responding to 1,000 calls per year. The department is made up of a combination of full-time, paid-on-call and per-diem personnel that take pride in serving the community.
Townsend is seeking experienced paramedics to fill a regular shift on Thursdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (0800-1800). We are also looking for paramedics to work various shifts throughout the week to fill open shifts due to vacation and scheduling conflicts.
Minimum qualifications are valid Massachusetts paramedic certification, valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
Preferred, qualifications include the above, plus Firefighter I and Firefighter II.
Starting pay is $23.50 per hour.
